  • No account registration or login is required.
  • Progress, stars, hints, settings, and in-progress level state are stored on your device.
  • Firebase helps us measure app use, diagnose crashes, and configure features.
  • Google AdMob and Unity Ads mediation may deliver and measure gameplay-banner, app-open, interstitial, and optional rewarded ads.
  • Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) presents consent and privacy choices where required, and ads are requested only when UMP reports that the app may request them.
  • Google Play and RevenueCat process purchases and restore eligible purchases.
  • Meta App Events may measure installs, app events, and advertising attribution where permitted.
  • Reminder notifications are optional and require Android notification permission.
Website privacy: this static website does not use analytics, advertising scripts, cookies, accounts, or contact forms. If that changes, this policy will be updated.

Information processed

Gameplay and settings

The app stores completed levels, stars, best times, current level state, move history needed to resume a puzzle, hint balance, path-guide preference, tutorial state, sound and haptic settings, reminder state, rating-prompt state, and cached remove-ads status. This data supports gameplay and is not tied to a first-party account.

Analytics and diagnostics

Firebase Analytics may receive app events such as launch, level start, level completion, hint use, ad events, purchase flow events, and settings changes, together with app and device information. Firebase Crashlytics may receive crash traces, app version, device model, Android version, and technical diagnostics so we can identify and fix problems.

Advertising

When ads are enabled, Google AdMob and mediation partners such as Unity may process advertising identifiers where available and permitted, IP address, approximate location derived from network information, app and device information, ad requests, impressions, interactions, and diagnostics to deliver, limit, measure, secure, and improve ads. Google UMP is used to request and record consent or privacy choices where required. The app does not request an ad unless UMP reports that it may do so.

Marketing measurement

When enabled, Meta App Events may process app events, device and app information, identifiers where available and permitted, attribution signals, and diagnostics for install attribution, campaign measurement, and advertising optimization.

Purchases

Google Play processes payments. RevenueCat helps load product offerings, verify purchase status, restore eligible purchases, and deliver entitlements. Purchase information may include product IDs, transaction status, transaction identifiers, generated app user identifiers, and entitlement state. The app stores cryptographic digests of processed hint transactions locally to prevent the same hint pack from being granted twice.

Support messages

If you email support, we receive the address and information you choose to provide, such as device details, app version, screenshots, level number, and issue description. Please do not send sensitive information that is not needed to investigate your request.

How information is used

  • Operate the game, save progress, resume a level, and remember preferences.
  • Provide hints, verify rewarded-ad completion, and prevent duplicate purchase fulfillment.
  • Load products, process purchases, apply remove-ads status, and restore eligible purchases.
  • Deliver, pace, secure, and measure ads when ads are enabled.
  • Understand aggregate gameplay, improve features, and diagnose crashes or performance issues.
  • Configure features, links, offers, ad settings, and supported app versions.
  • Schedule optional local reminders after notification permission is granted.
  • Respond to support, privacy, and legal requests.

Ads, rewards, and purchases

The app may show app-open and interstitial ads at eligible moments. It may also show a banner in a dedicated area at the bottom of gameplay after a remotely configured number of distinct levels has been completed; the current bundled threshold is four. If a banner is unavailable, cannot load, or the device is offline, gameplay continues without the ad.

Rewarded ads are optional: a hint or other advertised reward is added only after the ad provider confirms completion. If a rewarded ad is unavailable or fails, gameplay remains available, but no reward is granted.

The lifetime Remove Ads purchase disables automatic ad placements, including the gameplay banner. Optional rewarded ads may still be offered when you choose to obtain a reward. Hint packs add the stated number of hints after Google Play and RevenueCat confirm the purchase.

Device storage, backup, and transfer

Gameplay data and preferences are stored locally using Android app storage. Selected progress data and RevenueCat preferences may be included in Android cloud backup or device-to-device transfer, depending on your device and Google backup settings. A transferred or restored copy may therefore appear on another device.

Deleting the app or clearing its storage may remove local information, but it does not erase records that Google Play, RevenueCat, Firebase, advertising providers, or support email providers retain under their own requirements and policies.

Notifications

Arrow Puzzle! may request Android notification permission to schedule local gameplay reminders. Permission is optional. Denying or disabling notifications does not block core gameplay, and you can change permission in your device settings.

Your choices

  • Play without creating an account.
  • Turn sound, haptics, the path guide, and reminders on or off through the app or device settings.
  • Manage Android notification permissions and Google advertising controls in device settings where available.
  • Use Settings → Privacy choices when shown to review or update the advertising privacy choices provided through Google UMP.
  • Decline optional rewarded ads; the app will not grant the reward unless viewing is completed and verified.
  • Clear local progress and settings through Android's app-storage controls.
  • Use Restore Purchases for eligible non-consumable purchases.
  • Contact us about support information you sent or another privacy request.

See Data Deletion & Local Storage for step-by-step options.

Retention and security

Local information remains until app storage is cleared, it is replaced by backup or transfer, or the app is removed. Support emails are kept only as reasonably needed to respond, troubleshoot, prevent abuse, maintain appropriate records, or meet legal obligations. Third-party providers retain information according to their policies and configuration.

We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information and services involved. No storage or transmission system is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

Children

The app does not require a name, date of birth, contact details, or a user account. It is not designed to collect information directly from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child sent personal information through a support email, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.

International processing

Service providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live. Their processing is governed by their policies, contractual commitments, and applicable laws.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app, providers, legal requirements, or data practices change. The effective date at the top identifies the latest published version. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
